Bishopsgate Institute is a home for ideas and debate, learning and enquiry based in the City of London. Since it began in 1895 its aim has been to stimulate and feed a thirst for knowledge through a range of activities such as talks and discussions, concerts and courses. Our exquisite and refined Victorian library contains world-renowned collections and archives and is open to everyone free of charge. The Bishopsgate Institute is an atmospheric and inspiring location, that will imbue any event with a sense of history and uniqueness. We are located in one of London's most dynamic and easy to reach areas; just two minutes walk away from Liverpool Street station and Spitalfields Market.
