Among the most popular rooms for hire at the HAC is the Long Room, which can accommodate up to 250 guests for a drinks reception and 160 for a round table dinner. If you’re looking for a more intimate Christmas party, the Queen’s Room, situated on the ground floor, can host up to 40 guests for dinner. For larger celebrations, the Prince Consort Rooms provide a blank canvas space with a party capacity of 700 and the added benefits of a private entrance and courtyard.

The HAC is renowned for its incredible theming, having transformed its spaces into a Winter Wonderland, the decadent Roaring ’20s, Victorian Circus, and even the land of Narnia in previous years. The theme for the 2023 Christmas party packages will be revealed later in the year, promising another unforgettable experience.

Historically interesting. Today old chaps place to have fun (those who still can :-) Central location used for shows and meetings. Interestingly mixed architecture, old and modern buildings don't cause an eyesore

Great experience as ever. Beautiful historic building in a prime location - quiet oasis of calm. First class restaurant - great staff. Downside is that you have to be a member or else with a member! Bedrooms available at excellent rates. Very busy bar area. Museum on site. Highly recommended if you have the means of access.
