Great hotel, stayed for business and was very pleased overall. Staff were attentive, professional and pleasant. I moved rooms as was on the first floor over the bar which was quite noisy but the staff were so helpful and with no fuss helped me move rooms at 11pm! Clean, tidy modern hotel and in a great location. Even got up early for a run in the basement gym, sadly no time for a swim in the spa as you have to prebook slots.

Treated so well. Such amazing hospitality, from the manager, colleagues and the man at the front door. I had my luggage taken to my room by the manager who is so friendly, balloons and chocolates on my bed for my birthday. Prosecco upon arrival and even upon checkout when waiting for my luggage. Friendliest staff. Lovely rooms, amazing location and amenities such as the mood lighting, underfloor heating in bathroom and the spa which is very clean and relaxing. Would 1 million percent come back.

Nice location in center. Easy underground access. Friendly staff. Room was old fashioned (except bathroom was refurbished) and lighting was not mounted properly (lighting behind bed partly came loose and night light was extremely bright). AC was not working well (very weak) and room smelled not very fresh. Must admit that rate was good (214 GBP/night) but someone knowing this hotel told me that rates often are higher. Nice roof terrace. Food on roof terrace was not great (couscous salad with melon; was very dry). Next time I will try another hotel. There must be better options.

If you are looking for a luxurious stay than this suite is the best choice for you. From every room you will find stunning view. Staffs are really friendly and always welcoming from the very beginning. It was my great experience there and I will suggest everyone to have a visit in this Montcalm Royal London House.

Excellent service from hotel front of house staff and concierge they couldn't do enough for us. Loved the proscescco on arrival. It was a milestone birthday for me, and they put balloons and rose petals on our bed. Nice touch! 👍 I hate to say that we did have a poor experience with breakfast. We pre booked breakfast but were overlooked, No server came to take our order and we asked three times to be served, Then we had to wait too long for our coffees, only one came after we had finished our breakfast and then had to wait another 10 minutes and ask twice for the second coffee. This was below what was expected. 👎 This was a real shame as our experience with the hotel, front of house, room, and aviary bar was really positive. 👍
