    Really lovely stay at The Montcalm Finsbury Park. Stayed 2 nights and we loved it. Staff overall really helpful and friendly, but particular mention for Daniel Head Concierge and January Guest Services Manager. The VIP guest room was a nice surprise with a free bar (premium alcohol) and nice quality snacks, served with a smile. We were upgraded for breakfast both mornings, mainly as they had no gluten free choices in the VIP guest room. This is an issue that they have said they will address going forward, so hopefully for our next stay they will have much more choice. Thank you Team Montcalm. Debs, Jody and the young one.

    Honestly cannot find a fault with this hotel, it says you will be treated like royalty and you most certainly are ! The staff the decor the cleanliness the amenities are spot on ! The location also amazing ! The staff are all happy and eager to make your stays the most special ❤️ they can't do enough ! The room was amazing high up by the bar is what we like and a few added touches as I told them it was my sisters up coming birthday ! It was clean and well presented, We used the spa which really matches its 5* we couldn't fault it we had a massage with mart and Muhammed and again we couldn't fault that, The concierge Daniel is always on hand to make sure everything about your stay from start to finish and even after is perfect in every way ! They minded our bags even after check out and there attention to detail by giving us a brolly to venture into town so we didn't get wet just wow ! Honestly I can't say enough we had the most pleasant experience and I can't thank you enough we do hope to return one day soon

    Arriving and Leaving this hotel feeling like VIP , the min I step out my taxi the doorman, check in a plus , concierge always help , the 30 min complimentary spa pass is a plus. Large room comfortable bed. Great Breakfast, Dinner + the Rooftop bar love this the draw back my room were on the top floor , the AC was not working right.. the staff was very helpful trying to resolve this ( thing happened can’t be upset) which they did .. Thanks to the lady that works in the spa area and the gentleman that worked in Concierge.. Thank you

    Great location and facilities of this hotel. Also the service is really good. Room size was decent and clean bathroom but the room is very dusty and the carpet looks like it’s not been vacuumed in 6 months which is a bit gross. Hair and fluff all over it. Bed was fairly comfy and also the buffet breakfast was good. Also the lounge is a nice treat with wine and snacks. Will likely stay here again but will want a cleaner room.

    Definitely not a five star hotel. First the positive -- everyone I interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. But many things to be improved. I had a high floor king bed room for a long stay, so this was presumably one of the nicer rooms. But the bathroom was worn and scuffed, not particularly clean, and lit with a harsh white lighting. I had a problem with my safe and was told maintenance was on the way -- nobody came and I had to call again four hours later. The cleaning in my room was indifferent at best with a dirty coffee cup not being removed and my coffee not always replenished. The soup I ordered from room service was cold. I never received the e-mail receipt I was promised at checkin (not in spam). The lobby lights are tacky and there is an unpleasant (cleaning?) fragrance in the lobby. If it had been a three star hotel, I would have rated it highly for being very friendly. But this is supposed to be a five start hotel.
