Kachette is a popular event and party venue situated under the overground railway bridge on Old Street in the original ticket hall of Shoreditch Station which operated from 1865 to 1940. The historic railway arch venue consists of two beautifully restored railway arch spaces with exposed Victorian era brickwork, open rigging, stunning black gated entrance and arched door and its trademark train station clock which is situated inside the venue foyer. Kachette can accommodate up to 330 guests with a seated capacity of 115 guests. For smaller events, hire the front arch to cater for up to 180 guests. Kachette’s stunning railway arches are a pristine canvas suitable for a wide range of events including art exhibitions, birthday parties, Christmas parties, conferences, corporate events, fashion shows, press shows, pop-ups, private dinners, product launches, screenings, weddings and more.

a year agoHaving our wedding at Kachette was one of the best decisions we'll ever make! A unique venue with a real atmospheric vibe, we really couldn't have wished for a better venue to allow us to put our own stamp on the wedding! The team are also incredibly helpful - we weren't experienced in the world of dry hires, but Travis and John introduced us to the right people, and were there to advise on the best route to go - thanks all at Kachette!

10 months agoThe venue itself is a very clean, very well built blank canvas. It has basic sound and light and lots of plug sockets, meaning it's ideal for decorating and designing an event exactly as you want it. I've seen a few reviews saying it's small, but it's perfect for 150-250 people, depending on what other hardware you have in there. It's clean and tidy and the 2 arches are open, which gives a good vibe. In any event, there are problems, and I liked the way they dealt with the minor issues that arose on the evening, meaning everything went smoothly and the guest and client had a great event.

7 months agoI attended a yoga event here. The space is super interesting and atmospheric under the arches but it was cold! And the floor was hard! So it was rather miserable unfortunately. Probably better suited to another kind of event. Definitely needs to be heated more in the winter to be comfortable.

5 years agoGreat quirky venue, but a bit small for exhibition and craft fair was very crowded on the occasion I visited.

3 years agoKachette was a perfect venue for our wedding, right in the heart of Shoreditch. The team there were super organised and really helpful, making sure the day went without a single problem. Spread across two arches, with excellent facilities, it's a bank canvas that you can customise to 100% match your needs. The excellent sound system really let the band show off to their best! For an industrial urban feel, with all the comforts you need, it can't be beaten.
