Very modern hotel, staff and kind and helpful. I stayed in a very large Deluxe room (at least so I remember) as stated by the official hotel website The breakfast was well stocked with both salty and sweet foods which I was very satisfied with. The room was very clean. The services and the food offered by the hotel I have not tried it even though I have looked at the prices and they are very high. The bed in my opinion was comfortable but a bit hard, the room is also equipped with a Smart TV. The thing that struck me the most is the location, as it is within walking distance of the Mable Arch metro stop. To Go Back

Having just spent 2 nights at this jaded and shabby hotel I wanted to share the sad and disappointing experience we had in order to spare others from futures shock. We booked an "Executive Room" and apart from a very expensive price tag and a larger than normal room (Tiny bathroom) I cannot imagine why it is called "Executive" ? The room was uncomfortable, dull and dated, with a broken side table, hard uncomfortable bed and the smallest pillows I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere in the world. The bathroom products unlike the hotel room description were cheap (made in China) nasty items you would not want to use on your skin. The "free" mini bar consisted of 2 cans of Coke, 2 waters and some popcorn ! the TV did not work and constantly turned off every 15 minutes most channels did not connect either. The experience from check in to check out was a joke, staff barely had the skills to communicate or acknowledged guests, in the "Executive Lounge" we were completely ignored by the attendant on 2 occasions (we did not bother going back) the limited breakfast in the lounge on day 1 was targeted at a particular group so there was no bacon, or sausage and despite being in the capital of Britain was focussed on people from the Middle East and this was plain across the whole hotel. We asked for 2 extra pillows and received 1, we asked where the main breakfast was served to be told "There" pointing to a room on the 1st floor, where does this hotel hire its staff from and what training in customer service do they provide ? The housekeeping staff could be heard shouting and talking at all times of the day with each other and slamming doors, disturbing guests in their rooms. The main breakfast was mediocre, the room hot and stuffy and a complete let down. This hotel changes names every so many years for some reason....probably so people forget how bad it is but don't be fooled it is a dump and only interested in catering for people from certain countries. I cannot stop thinking about such a waste of almost £700 for 2 awful nights stay. Looking at the reviews they are pretty poor and the response from the general manager robotic and in line with our experience. There are loads of better hotels right next door.

Check in was fast with no complications. Bags were brought to our rooms. Room size is excellent compared to other hotels in the area. Clean rooms. Complimentary water and drinks in the fridge. Room service is fast. No complaints.

(Note: i made the reservation myself on this hotel's website directly, so I'm not sure why their reply mentions contacting a different supplier) I rarely leave reviews for hotels but I wanted to share my thoughts on this hotel. The two Pros: good location and the room was quite large (we had a triple room). But the Cons would make me not want to stay here again. The room, particularly the bathroom, was somewhat dirty. I wasn't expecting spotless but this was dirtier than expected. The pillows were flat as pancakes, on all 3 beds. I have never had such flat pillows in any hotel nor am I particularly picky about pillows. But when they are this flat, it was noticeable and quite uncomfortable. While it is advertised as having AC, it functioned more like a basic fan, meaning the air was really not cool at all. It was about 85 degrees outside during our stay and our room never got comfortable. We had a room with the windows facing an interior mechanical space which meant there was no opportunity for a breeze, so opening the windows didn't help either. And while Europe doesn't generally have AC the way we are used to in the US, the hotel advertised itself as having AC but it didn't even rise to the level of a decent fan. We spent 17 days in Europe and this was the only hotel with AC issues.

I recently stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the central location near Marble Arch was convenient for my plans. The room was comfortable and clean, although there were a few minor issues that could have been improved. While the amenities were decent, I felt that some aspects could have been better maintained. Despite these small drawbacks, I had a satisfactory stay and would consider returning in the future.
