Nice little garden in the city. You won't need much time here, and there were no Caffè, so no options to grab a tea or chill with a cup of coffee. There are some cozy spots to sit tho. Are are few ponds with carps and turtles, and it's free so nothing to complain about. They also do 50 show up entries every hour, so if you didn't book it in advance- you can still get inside on the day, depending on how busy it is. Time wise 20 min will be more than enough if you are just having a stroll.

I was impressed at the size of the conservatory as well as the variety of plants. Getting in is a nightmare because they have very limited days that it's open. Last year it was closed for MONTHS! I live locally and it was not easy Getting tickets. You need to book ahead of time. They do take in walk ins but there's a long queue whilst ticket holders just walk in. Make sure to check opening times on their website. Well worth seeing.

Nice space, great variety of plants. Such an interestingly visual place. Tickets are free if you prebooked. Would recommend a visit. There was an art installation when we visited, which added to the walk around the conservatory.

Very nice atmosphere and many beautiful plants. Is the perfect place for the art created by Ranjani. We missed some ambience music, as we expected from the description. Also, some plants need watering or removal if they are dead. If you visit in the evening the atmosphere is somehow magical but if you want to better see the plants then you better go during the day.

Full Review: Available @davidtriesitall on all social medias Barbican Conservatory houses numerous lush greeneries and is now the home of Indian sculptor Ranjani Shettar's installation ‘Cloud songs on the horizon' This tropical oasis hosts several handcrafted sculptures that makes you feel like you are in an alternate whismisical reality. Everything was so dreamy especially when the sun sets and as the sculptural pieces are illuminated with a warm and comforting glow. The artist behind this installation encourages viewers to bask in the ambiance of this otherworldly space by smelling the flowers and viewing the sculptures from different angles to appreciate their beauty. They also have a bar and snack area in the middle of all of these jungle lushness which you can get some drinks and snacks whilst you explore. They also have a lot of seating and intimate nooks throughout the space which is perfect for just sitting and enjoying all of its glory. Honestly I would highly recommend visit this installation especially with loved ones and friends. This installation will run until July 2024 Location: Silk St, London EC2Y 8DS Nearest Tube Station: Barbican, St Paul’s, Farringdon and Moorgate Price - FREE Requirements - Book a free ticket to get into this exhibition.
