We enjoyed our FRENCH style ENGLISH High Tea. A delicious change from cucumber sandwiches. Great atmosphere. The staff could be a tad more attentive and maybe even friendly? (Some coloured pencils for our little restless people would have been great!). But, thank you!

The place has a great view of St. Paul’s cathedral. I had the traditional afternoon tea, and everything was delicious. The only thing is that on the photos shows 3 tiers; however, I only received 2. The atmosphere is very relaxing, classic. The staff were polite.

Went there on New Year’s evening for traditional afternoon tea. Service was tad bit slow but no complaints here…understandably it was a busy time on this special day We had pre-booked the table two days ago, still we waited about 10 minutes to sit down, 40 minutes to get the “tea”, food took another 10 minutes to arrive. Food was nice and warm(savoury ones), scones were delicious…. Almond/vanilla cake seemed a bit dry! This was our first ever “afternoon tea experience” in British land, not sure what to expect at this price(£40 for two) Ambience and location is 5 stars though!

Went for afternoon tea as I was given a gift voucher for my birthday. Absolutely terrible experience- do not waste your money on this (or buying this as a gift for anyone). The food at the afternoon tea was good however that’s where it ended. Our waitress was very unfriendly and unwilling to help. The teapots we got given (bearing in mind afternoon tea is one of their key menu items) had no lids- they had saucers balancing ontop. So when you try to pour your tea, it falls off. The teapots were also chipped. When we asked our waitress for a new teapot with a lid on it, she said no. She said she can bring us another teapot but it also won’t have a lid on it, as all the teapots are broken with no lids. There were a number of tables around us, with the same teapots with no lids- that also complained. The service was exceptionally slow and all the waiters/waitresses were all just standing behind the bar. Empty dishes stayed on our table for ages after finishing eating/drinking. Please don’t waste your money on an afternoon tea here.

We came here on boxing day and it was very quiet but the staff were brilliant. We enjoyed the food and weren't rushed even though we were the last table to be served.
